Print and type experiment

These are the first two graphic layering experiments i did, i really like these pieces and they inspired me to develop my idea further to my final book outcome.

final circuit board manipulation

This is my favourite and final circuit board manipulated image. I did not enjoy this part of the project as much as the other aspects of the brief. However i really like this final piece as it has a very cartoon like quality to it almost like a miniature animated city, which i really like.

Logo Experiment

This was a series of  logos i created when experimenting with my prints through photoshop and adding type. I really like these pieces despite not developing into logos any further i really like them as stand alone pieces.

Book Cover development to final.

This is my final book cover design. I am really pleased with my final outcome. I really enjoyed exploring a new area of design i have not looked into yet. I feel it has a good balance of image and typography. I also feel the design i had created had been used in the right media. It was not looking at its full potential through posters or advertisement. I am really pleased i decided to go down the book cover design route and i love the final outcome.

Santiago Calatrava

Calatrava's work is amazing to me it is futuristic modern and very mathematical and almost graph like. it is not industrial at all to me instead of a building for a purpose it is more of a structure a model based on nature i.e wings of a bird purely for artistic beauty.

sir Norman foster

Sir Norman foster has created some beautiful structures mainly futuristic and modern with a curve quality to them many spherical and made with glass or reflective media. I love the structures and they are stunning to photograph.

Lloyd Wright

Lloyd Wright has created some beautiful architectual structures. They are all very linear and striking looking. I love his pieces. When selecting the buildings i wished to photograph i looked into having strong sharp looking structures.

Typographic Prints

These are another selected pieces of work that i have developed and experimented with. I really like these pieces and am really pleased with the final outcomes.
